Deadstring Brothers - Silver Mountain
zeigen auf ihrer neuen CD, wie gut sie Southern- und Country-Style mit Rockn-Roll verbinden können und noch besser Indie-Country-Balladen darbringen. Dabei kommt die Band aus Detroit und der Pedalsteel-Gitarrist gar aus London!

ich hab von diesem John Butler Trio eine Scheibe namens Live in St. Gallen. Hat mich bisher nicht überzeugen können. Nettes virtuoses Gitarrenspiel, alles ganz prima anhörbar, aber es berührt mich nicht am Punkt.
Ach, du weißt schon, dass ich nicht auf den 12.Takt festgelegt bin. Ich erkenne ja die musikalischen Fähigkeiten des Trios an, aber wie gesagt, es packt mich nicht an den Cochones, wie man in Mexico so spricht....
